I'm so honored to have received The Knot's "BEST of WEDDINGS" award for 2010 and 2011! Many thanks to all of my Orlando wedding couples & families for your fabulous reviews on my services and Harp music: Harpist Catherine Way - HarpStrings, Inc.

I love to help brides choose the perfect music for their Ceremonies. I start by providing a Ceremony outline with music suggestions, then we put together just the right music for their ceremony. Classical music is a timeless choice. Traditional music includes: Canon in D, Bridal Chorus, The Wedding March, Ave Maria, Trumpet Voluntary, Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring, and Ode to Joy. Recently, I've had requests for The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba and Trumpet Tune. Also, selections from Vivaldi's Four Seasons are really wonderful!

Over the past few years, brides are choosing a mix of Contemporary & Classical. Some recent & standard Contemporary songs have been: Endless Love, God Bless the Broken Road, Rainbow/Wonderful World, I'm Yours, Marry Me, Marry You, Feather Theme (from Forrest Gump), Fields of Gold, Faithfully and of course some Disney songs always work well: Can You Feel the Love Tonight and A Whole New World.

Because I've always been a huge Beatles fan, I love it when we incorporate Beatles songs, such as: Here Comes the Sun, All You Need is Love, In My Life, and Something (in the way she moves). Earlier this year, one couple selected all Beatles music for both the Prelude and Ceremony. It was very cool!

And Harp music is perfect for the Cocktail Hour, too. Guests can listen to live music (while the DJ or band is setting up for the reception) and they're always amazed by all of the Contemporary music and Standards I play. After the wedding, brides often tell me how many compliments they received on the Harp music!

This year I've provided Harp music for many weddings & events throughout Orlando, including: Reunion Resort, Shades of Green at WDW, Cypress Grove Park Estate House, Gaylord Palms Resort, Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes Orlando resort, Sheraton Maitland Hotel, Waldorf Astoria Orlando, Tuscawilla Country Club, Leu Gardens, Timacuan Country Club, Rosen Shingle Creek, Mission Inn, Lake Mary Events Center, Buena Vista Palace, Leu Gardens, Omni Championsgate, Rosalind Club, Rosen Centre, and Victoria & Albert's restaurant at Disney's Grand Floridian resort.
